Mariah + Vinh

A delightfully colourful day was spent with Mariah and Vinh at the uber cool Jackson Square. It was a celebration of the future, the fact that they had been together for half their lives, their dog Blu and all mixed with a dash of Co2 and a crazy dancefloor!

Mariah and Vinh’s crowd were a woo crowd, this meant they were locked in from moment one of their ceremony and were wonderfully responsive throughout. This type of love from their crowd instantly relaxed Mariah and Vinh and it was wonderful to see them enjoy their story, even the parts from their teenage years.

Check out this little excerpt from their ceremony story:

“When asked how the two officially became a couple, both shared it was equal parts memorable and cringe.

The two were with friends at Elder Park and managed to sneak away for a few quiet moments together.

This is where they shared their very first kiss together.

First – woo!

Filled with some confidence and overcoming his shyness, Vinh plucks up the confidence to ask the following question:

Does this mean we’re dating?

Mariah replies sharply: No.

Vinh determined follows on with a simple two word question.

Will you?

Mariah flipping quicker then an Olympic gymnast, answers favourably this time with a, sure.

Woo number 2 – after a snappy conversation Mariah and Vinh are officially a couple.

On a roll, Vinh’s not finished and maybe coming in a little hot replies with “I love you”

After what may have seemed an eternity, Mariah finally returned with…  “I love you too” and Vinh’s heart started beating again.

On reflection the two mention the whole conversation is a little cringe but at an early age you two knew you had found your person, at 15 you said I love you for the first time and today confirms that you’ll be sharing a lot more I love you’s together.

When asked what do Mariah and Vinh love about each other, Vinh shared that he loves Mariah’s caring and loving nature, and this is no more evident in her passion for her patients and nursing.

Vinh admires Mariahs, determination, organisation and strong family values complimented by the deep care for those closest to her.

He treasures her upbeat and bubbly personality along with Mariah’s ability to make him laugh particularly at her quirky but cute dance moves, of which we all look forward to tonight.

Ultimately, he just loves the way that Mariah makes him feel confident, cherished and loved.

Mariah also equally adores Vinh’s caring calm nature and his eternal optimism to see the best in everything and everyone.

Vinh has been Mariah’s greatest support through the ups and downs, the tough and the good times. Always by her side and often placing others needs before his own. She mentions he knows when to say the right things and when to make her laugh.

Mariah goes on to say she loves how he likes to cook and clean.. well sometimes. Even going as far to say that Vinh is a damn good cook!

But ultimately, Vinh just makes Mariah feel safe, loved and valued.”
