The all-inclusive ceremony package

The full service with a genuine celebrant for an engaging, fun and relaxed ceremony completely authentic to you with all the best bits..

  • You’ll receive an email from Birth’s Death’s and Marriage SA along with instructions 6 months prior to your wedding to begin the legal process. We’ll sign the Notice of Intended Marriage at our ceremony planning meeting (either in person or via ZOOM if couple lives interstate).

As part of the legal process, I am required to sight personal ID. You will be required to supply your ID from both categories below:

Evidence of your date and place of birth (birth certificate, Australian or overseas passport)

Photographic evidence of identity (driver's licence, passport, proof of age card or official identity card)

Next up is the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage, this document is to confirm your conjugal status, marriageable age and no legal impediment and designed to be completed as close to your ceremony as possible. I like to complete this document at our final meeting/ site visit but it can completed on your wedding day prior to your ceremony if required.

During your ceremony I’ll provide your legal vows (19 words + each of your full names) to be read and I’ll share the Monitum  (the celebrants legal wording)

I’ll have the official certificate of marriage certificates and commemorative marriage certificate marriage ready and printed for your ceremony. You will need to provide two witnesses (both over the age of 18) and we’ll sign the certificates together.

Post ceremony I will register your ceremony with BDM SA then notify you when it has officially been registered. I’ll follow up with an email of how you can order the legal certificate and any links for change of name process in your state of residence (should that be the path you would like to follow).

  • To put it simply my emails are always open, and I encourage you to text, call or insta DM if you have any questions or concerns. I’m here to help!

  • You’ll get access immediately to my clients only accessible CONFETTI PORTAL (password provided for clients) complete with extensive ceremony and reception planning guides, tips, tricks and hints, vow writing guide, weather and legal pointers and my A-list of recommended vendors. These guides are to be used in conjunction with the ceremony planning questionnaire.

  • Within the clients only CONFETTI PORTAL, you’ll have immediate access to my vow writing guide. It’s a step by step guide to help you feel comfortable, organised and excited to write your vows.

You’ll receive absolutely no pressure from me to complete your vows, but I am here to help you should you be interested.

The first step is to chat with your partner and set some guidelines; length, tone, inclusions, things you don’t want shared and even a rough format if you want to go that far.

The part that makes my couples feel comfortable with what their sharing is I ask you both to send me a draft. I can then look over them both, provide some feedback, assist with the flow and make sure they compliment each other beautifully.

If you’re nervous about sharing vows publicly, then why not consider a first look prior to the ceremony, or post ceremony during golden hour or just during a quiet moment. We’ll chat through all your options.

I’ll print your vows (with legal vows) and provide them to you when the time is right. You let me know who will go first, or if there’s a fun little game to decide. I’ll then pop in with you both, have a chat and even hold the mic if you’re feeling a little nervous. However, if you’re keen to hold the mic that’s sweet, I’ll pop off to the side and enjoy those vows from a small distance.

  • The ceremony and reception planning guides are extensive conversation starters, tips, tricks, ideas for things you may want to include into your ceremony or reception. Each topic has a photo and a range of ideas or options. These are to be used in conjunction with the ceremony and reception planning questionnaires so you can tell me what you like, what you don’t like and what you would like to discuss further.

These guides and questionnaires are made immediately available to all clients. The great thing about the questionnaires are they are online and can be submitted and resubmitted as many times as you please. They can help track your progress and I can check in on how you going also.

  • You’ll receive an email at 4 months prior to your ceremony prompting you to complete the questionnaires. I’ll pop all the information provided into a wedding day run sheet which we’ll discuss at our planning meeting. It’s an opportunity to confirm some details, discuss a stack of options, just chat and then I’ll leave you with a few items to keep working at. You’ll leave this meeting feeling organised, excited and with a clear plan moving forward.

  • Run sheets seem to always be a hot topic and a stress to couples.

I will put together an easy to use and read custom wedding run sheet for all my couples, after our planning meeting you'll receive your run sheet with the information you've supplied starting from preparation photos all the way up until the end of your reception.

It's likely other suppliers will provide but also ask you for a timeline and this can help you be prepared for those questions.

  • These online questionnaires are designed to be fun and bring back some wonderful memories for you both. I ask that you fill them in separately, this helps with a complete story and finding all these fun, sweet and funny moments. This is how I create your completely unique and custom ceremony story.

  • As mentioned above, your custom ceremony script is prepared from your couples’ questionnaires. There are no generic poems, readings or boring parts, just your story and what means most to you. This information coupled with our meetings gives me a great insight into you both and what you really want!

We can even share a letter or a story about your pets if that fits your story.

  • I love to try and meet up with you both at your ceremony venue the week of your wedding.  This final meeting is a great chance for us to chat all about your ceremony and tick off the final items. If you’re having a wedding party, they are welcome to join us, but it’s certainly not required. This is not a strict rehearsal as I find this can cause some anxiety if something changes. I’ll arrive early on your wedding day and I’m here to look after you, your guests, party and VIP’s and guide them through the ceremony. You’ll head away feeling calm and excited for what is to come!

This is included within the quote.

  • Included with every quote is a Bose S1 Pro PA speaker, Sennheiser wireless microphone and wireless receivers plus PA stand. I always have spares of everything at the ceremony space as a just in case if technology fails. It is important to me that your ceremony is heard clearly by you and your guests.

Should you choose a Spotify playlist/ music for your ceremony I will prompt you for that music, have it downloaded on my tablet and play it through my speaker at the ceremony.

“Matthew not only knows how to work a crowd, but how to engage and get everyone involved and in the wedding feels.”

..that was hands down the most authentic and fun wedding I have been to”.

MASTER OF RECEPTION PACKAGE

THE PARTY OF US

Your reception is time to let your hair down, grab a drink and enjoy your wedding day with your family and friends. I’ll make the planning process easy, ask the essential questions required to form a run sheet, a central point of communication for all your vendors and kick start the night with an electric and well organised entrance.

Why not have the same professional to host the ceremony and the reception, having already built a solid rapport with you, your wedding party and guests to ensure the night runs smoothly to ensure you’ve got your hands up in the air before you know it on the dancefloor.

The package includes additional meeting time, assistance with planning an easy-to-use run sheet, co-ordination with the venue and all vendors, planning for the entrance, speeches, dancefloor and everything in-between and services provided until the newlyweds exit the venue at the conclusion of the reception.

Available: For weddings of any size, any time or day of the week.

Please note: The MC package is an optional extra and you are under no-obligation to purchase a MC package to ensure my celebrant services.

I am no longer offering just MC service as a heads up.

Cost: enquire for unique quote alongside celebrant services

The reception MC package

The full service with an MC that is guaranteed to provide an engaging, fun, organised and energetic reception that is unique to you. I’ll have all the conversations with your venue and vendors at your reception, so you don’t have to!

  • How to build your run sheet? Start with these 4 key timings:

    • Guest entry/ wedding party entrances

    • Food timings

    • Sunset timings

    • Reception finish

These 4 key timings will build the structure for your run sheet. I'll grab all your details and help build an easy to follow, simple timeline that allows for all your formalities but ensuring the flow feels right and you have time to mingle, relax, eat, drink and plenty of time for dancing.

  • The role of the MC is much more than introducing a few speeches. The main role is to co-ordinate with your vendors and venues, ensuring things flow smoothly and roll with any changes may occur.

I'm here to have all the conversations you don't want or need to have.

  • I want to ensure the vibes are always good and the energy is just right throughout the reception. From a little hype during your entrance, to games, a light speech introduction to opening that dance floor I'm ensuring my minimal words are impactful and leaving the best work to do be done by the stars of your reception.

  • The order of your reception is an important conversation. We'll work through the run sheet together with the key timings, formalities and vibe of the night determining what order we organise your run sheet.

Newlyweds' speeches to kick off the reception have become super popular rather than being the last speech of the night. Your reception, your way!

  • One person running the ceremony and reception speaks for itself. The feedback from guests is they love the continuity of a celebrant who brings a good energy to the reception, no ice breaking just more fun.

It's one less vendor to worry about and the personalisation of your reception is not to be missed!

  • It is always my recommendation to book a professional DJ or band for your reception, they are skilled in what they do and provide good quality speakers and expertise. Each bring unique qualities to a dance floor so determine exactly what you want for your reception.

I however understand that budget restraints don't always allow for some music so Spotify playlists can work fantastically if the right preparation and equipment is used. I'll prompt you with what playlists you will need for different stages of the night.

“ The whole night ran smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything except having a good time as Matthew had it all under control.

So many of our guests have commented that ours was the best wedding they had attended and a huge part of that was Matthew's ability as the MC.”
